No, but I’m getting it done next weekend when I go down to visit my brother, Jim. I told him I didn’t want blue/white teeth. I remember your story and now I’m a little nervous, but I’m reconciled to only being able to drink white wine for a day or two. 🙂
Enjoy the wine. You might need some advil for the pain, so make sure you are eating some white food with your wine and pain killers. I recommend white chocolate. Even with just half the procedure, my teeth really hurt the first 24 hours.
I had enormous pain even with those Crest White Strips – and learned to not brush for a few hours before and after. Especially after – brushing drives the chemical deep into the nerve beds, or something. Seering pain. So don’t brush your teeth for 3 days, and you should be fine. Oh. And drink white coffee, too.
I’ve tried the strips and didn’t have any pain, so I hope this is a harbinger of whitenings to come. Y’all have got me really worried about this now. I’m supposed to be on my vacation when I have this done. And no coffee? No can do.
Practicing up my window-washing, beauty queen wave to go with my Vaseline smile. I’ll be all set when “Middle-Aged Haus Fraus & Tiaras” comes a-callin’.
Wasn’t your party dress blue? People dye shoes all the time to match their dress. White is highly overrated. Go for blue hair streaks, too (the white highlights show up all by themselves so you don’t need to pay to have them added.)
The dress is more silver, but I think you may be on to something here. The part about the white highlights is sad but true. Really sad. Downer, actually.
I had to Google Zoom, too.
And then everything totally made sense.
Until I managed to forget what I’d just found 30 seconds before.
Which is rare for me, as I’m sure you can attest to.
🙂
Did you get zoomed? I had a panic attack half way thru thte process.

Exactly. Loved that movie.

My husband overruled my beloved name choice of Violet for my daughter because of this detestable character. Damn you, Violet Beauregarde.

I love that name! Why, oh why, did you ever give your hubby veto power? First and most fatal mistake a wife can make.

You are so right. Usually I’m the one with all the veto power. To be named for a color AND a flower? Is there anything better?

I had to Google Zoom – I had never heard of it before. Hope it goes well for you and isn’t as painful as many report.

As “many” report? Many? I thought that was an isolated thing. Hmmm. Reconsidering whether or not I want to try to rock the gray-teeth look.

Ha! You’re so right on this one. Good luck with your Zoom next week – I’m curious to hear how it goes!

I’m getting nervous about all this pain stuff. I wasn’t counting on that. Maybe I’ll chicken out.

Good luck! Rub some Vaseline on your teeth when you’re through — then you’ll have the true beauty queen smile. 🙂

Hahaha. Thinking a second design featuring a pic of Snooki and a PSA on spray-tanning might be in order 🙂

You are so right – continuing the theme we could use the Oompa Loompas for her PSA.

I have not heard of this procedure. Yep, that’s me, still in a cave, under a rock. Off to Google…

Your teeth are probably pearly white under there, like Gollum.

Reminds me of the “Friends” episode when Ross got his teeth whitened. Too funny!
Your graphics are always so clever. 🙂

Thanks! I did use white for Violet’s teeth, but they pick up the blue glow of the rest of her. Kind of like what I’ll look like in a couple of weeks.

This happened on an episode of Friends with Ross on a date. So funny.

I never saw that episode, but I sure know people in real life who have gone through it. Come on, people, teeth are not supposed to be blue!
