Let’s Go For A Visit!

Hi de ho, Guys and Gals –

Today I’m going for a little visit to The Byronic Man‘s blog.  Won’t you join me?

Our genial host, Joel, is a bon vivant, a raconteur; in short, just the sort of Renaissance man-about-town that you should get to know.

Yours Truly, Peg-o-Leg, is the blogger in the spotlight (why does that make me think of “deer in the headlights”?) today in his ongoing series, “20 Questions”.  This catchy title is shorthand for “getting some other idiot to write my post for me so I can put new material up on this-here blog while doing diddly-squat myself.”

When he asked me to play, I thought “Hmmm.  Sweating blood over a really, really tough list of essay questions designed to bare my very soul to public ridicule.   Count me in!”

Come on along and join all the other Byromaniacs in one of my favorite pastimes – learning all about me.   I’m sure Joel will have a huge supply of beer, wine and cookies on hand so it will be a rollicking good time!

  1. Your interview was wonderful. What was the time lag between answering the questions and seeing them appear? I answered mine some time ago. When the interview didn’t appear immediately I assumed I failed.

Jeez, it was pretty quick. Ask him. I bet your reply wound up in his spam folder or something and this is one of those awkward misunderstandings where he thought you never bothered to do it and you think he put a big, red “F” at the top of your test. Sounds like the perfect basis for a sit-com!

LOVED your interview, Peg! And now I’m excited anew, reading that Renee (Life in the Boomer Lane) has one coming, too! Huzzah!

Ix-nay, IX-NAY on the Renee stuff! Joel begged me to do this (hounded me really), then rushed the interview to press within moments of getting it. I guess he reluctantly agreed to send the outline to Renee when she pleaded with him, then when he got the completed interview he just tossed it on the slush pile. Like it was last week’s fish wrap! Totally dissed her.

She may be a little sensitive about this crushing rejection, so we should try to be considerate and not rub it in, ok?

You’re so right. I should know better.

P.S. – Are we allowed to start using his real name now? Did we wear him down with our own real-namedness? Oooooh.

Oh, um, should I not? I didn’t know that. Do you think I should remove it?

I wouldn’t worry. I think he’s staging a slow reveal of his true self. Remember the dress pics? 😉

How could I forget? It was just THAT sort of brilliant posting that shouldered aside MY superior entry in your basket contest, allowing Renee to sneak in and win the prize so, so unfairly!!!!!!!
Did I say that out loud? What I MEANT was that her entry was so fab and deserving, so JK, LOL!!
